Northern Ireland has a number of excellent beaches for landsailing. However care should be taken at busy times – use clearly marked zones if applicable.

Benone beach is located on the north coast and is one of Ireland's longest beaches with 11 kilometres of golden sands stretching between the mouth of Lough Foyle to Downhill. Best wind direction is North to North Easterly.
Restrictions in place during July & August. Please make yourself known to the beach warden on entering the beach. You will be directed to the current sand yacht & kite zone. No restrictions rest of year but IPKSA use the beach for kite buggy racing on occasions.

Murlough beach is located at the foot of the Mourne mountains. Approximately 3 miles long of hard packed golden sand. This east facing beach is popular during the summer months.
To access this beach there is a requirement to cross National Trust area.(approx 10 mins) Please obey the rules in place on site. Payment required for car parking during summer months.

Tyrella beach is a popular spot for landsailing especially in an easterly breeze.
