How To Get Started

Tuition from a qualified instructor is essential for anyone wanting to try snowboarding or skiing on a dry ski slope in Northern Ireland for the first time. Lessons on the dry ski slope will allow you to master the proper technique from the start, providing you with good foundations from which to build your skills.  Currently there is only one place where you can dry ski slope in Northern Ireland - Craigavon Golf & Ski Centre.  Lessons can be booked here with a wide range of courses and sessions available.

Is It Easy?

All you need is a reasonable level of fitness; specialist equipment will be supplied by the activity provider. Lessons and coaching from qualified instructors ensure that you learn the very important basics correctly – once you have these basic skills you can improve rapidly. After completing a course of lessons you will be confident and at the correct standard to practice your new found skills on your own or with friends at a recreation snowsport session.

Is It Expensive?

Lessons vary in price depending on which course you choose, with courses starting from £55 per person for a number of sessions. Private lessons start from £50 per hour. Group rates are available.  All courses and lessons include equipment hire if needed.

Once you gain enough confidence to hit the slopes on your own the cost can be kept minimal. Practice snowsports recreation sessions start from just £5 per hour (including equipment) meaning you don’t need to buy your own specialist equipment.
