Flat water is best for Waterskiing and Wakeboarding; Northern Ireland is blessed with some excellent inland water in the form of both Lough Erne and Lough Neagh. Sections of the Lower Bann River are also popular.

Antrim Lough Shore Park provides public slip way access to the North Eastern shores of Lough Neagh. A café and caravan site is open from Easter to October.

Situated on the River Erne at the north end of Upper Lough Erne. Carrybridge has a public slipway and picnic area on one side of the river and a family run hotel on the other side. Although the river is narrow it is a popular venue for water skiing.

The site has a campsite and caravan park with shops and play parks for children. Ultimate Watersports provide a waterski and wakeboarding school for beginners. Due to its popularity, Castle Archdale can become extremely busy during Peak Season.

Coleraine Marina is situated on the Upper Bann it includes a slipway, marina and ample parking space for boats and trailers. Its proximity to the River Bann Estuary and the town of Coleraine makes it a popular location for waterskiers.

Craigavon Balancing Lakes are a small group of lakes to the south of Lough Neagh. Their small size provides excellent sheltered water for waterskiing. Craigavon Watersports Centre is based here and also provides lessons.

Situated on the Lower Bann, Drumaheglis Marina & Caravan Park provides a perfect location for waterskiing enthusiasts. The venue incorporates a boat park, slipway, marina with overnight berthing facilities for 32 boats. Nearby Edge Watersports provides a range a equipment and waterskiing lessons.
