About the Event

This two-day / one-evening course is designed to give students a thorough understanding of the skills involved in rock climbing at the outdoor crag.

The course involves lots of climbing, discussions about equipment, rope systems, guide books, risk awareness, movement on rock, etc.

You will be introduced to the rope systems and belay systems required for safe climbing and should leave with a thorough understanding of the climbing game.

What to Bring

Bring any of your own personal hillwalking outdoor clothing and kit such as, waterproof jacket and trousers, boots, fleece jacket, hat and gloves, flask, water bottle, and spare clothes.

Tollymore can supply most of the equipment you require for this course.
