This event is part of the Get Wet NI national campaign which opens up an array of opportunities for local people to get involved in a variety of watersports. Watersport clubs based all over Northern Ireland will be offering local people an opportunity to ‘Have a Go’ in a variety of watersports for as little as £10 or less over the weekend of 6th &7th May with events continuing throughout the Summer!
Try the exciting sport of sailing and windsurfing with our experienced instructors. The perfect way to get started or to polish up your skills. Our instructors will ‘keep you right’ whilst making sure it’s all good fun!
A sheltered harbour ensures a safe area to learn, with a larger outer lake to improve and practice. We have fun single handed boats and performance racing boats to ensure a swift progression in sailing skills. Specialised access boats ensure sailing can be enjoyed by everyone.
Boats used will include Laser Stratos, Laser 2000, Laser Pico, Laser RS Feva
No need to prebook, simply turn up on the day and register. Meet the team at Craigavon and get to know more about the club. Old trainers that you don’t mind getting wet, a long sleeved top for under your wet suit, a swimsuit/swimming trunks, a towel, a change of clothes, a packed lunch, a water bottle and snacks.
