About the Event

This event is part of the Get Wet NI national campaign which opens up an array of opportunities for local people to get involved in a variety of watersports. Watersport clubs based all over Northern Ireland will be offering local people an opportunity to ‘Have a Go’ in a variety of watersports for as little as £10 or less over the weekend of 6th &7th May with events continuing throughout the Summer!

Open to all ages everyone is welcome to come along and have a go on this free try sailing taster day. We will get you out on the water with an experienced sailor so you can learn more about this fantastic sport and give it a go for yourself. There will also be the opportunity to chat with members of the club to see what else there is to offer. There will also be opportunities for a power boat ride. Each session will last for approximately one hour during which time you will get a briefing and hands on experience out on the water.

Afterwards everyone is welcome at the clubhouse for a BBQ and a chance to see the facilities and chat with members to find out what else is on offer at the club.

What to Bring

Old trainers you don’t mind getting wet, and towels.
