About the Event

This event is part of the Get Wet NI national campaign which opens up an array of opportunities for local people to get involved in a variety of watersports. Watersport clubs based all over Northern Ireland will be offering local people an opportunity to ‘Have a Go’ in a variety of watersports for as little as £10 or less over the weekend of 6th &7th May with events continuing throughout the Summer!

'Try Sailing’ introductory sessions are aimed at providing a taste of sailing to beginners so they can get a feel of what it is like, learn the basics and prove that you don’t need to own a boat to enjoy the sport of sailing.

Open to all ages, no experience is required and safety equipment is provided. Once registered for one of our introductory sessions, you will be introduced to the equipment, receive a demonstration of how to sail and get the opportunity to get out for a sail with an experienced instructor.

What to Bring

Please bring old footwear, a towel and suitable clothing for the weather. We have a selection of wetsuits if required.
