About the Event

This is a very scenic coastal walk along the shore of Strangford Lough, one of the top tourist attractions in Northern Ireland. There are beautiful views over Strangford Lough to Strangford village, Castle Ward and Audleys Castle and abundant wildlife is all around you. You will enjoy the stories of the rich maritime history of this area and appreciate its ecological importance. It is possible to walk onto Ballyhenry island at low tide and enjoy the birdsong. Parking and Start point:: Ferry Terminal Carpark Duration: 1 hour 30mins Distance: Flexible depending on the group. This is an easy linear route on a country road.

Tours available on other dates by arrangement.
