About the Experience

Enjoy a double sea kayak experience in the shimmering moonlight on the fabulous inland waterways, taking in nocturnal creatures, historic landscapes and culture!

The full moon brings out great conditions for night paddling creating the best visibility to see the unique nocturnal creatures and wild-life. Experience kayaking with all your senses on this unique and thrilling experience that will take paddling to a whole new dimension.

This activity is suitable for over 14s only.

No previous experience is required however a reasonable level of fitness required.

You will meet in the evening at your predetermined location (this will be confirmed upon booking) before being kitted out with everything you need for your kayaking session. Your fully qualified instructor will then give a safety briefing and help you get to grips with the equipment before heading out on your paddle under the light of the moon and stars. You will be in a double kayak sharing with one other member of the group.

As you travel down the river your senses will help guide you down the river as you learn new paddling skills and look out for the wildlife of the night. There may even be a few spooky stories shared to create a bit of craic! The whole experience will last for approximately 2 hours. You will be in a group of no more than 12 people.
