Lecale is a peninsula on the Mourne Coastal Route. Tours are based in the towns of Downpatrick, Ardglass, and Portaferry and use the Ulster Way. Walks outside the area can also be arranged.

The story of Ireland starts here! Explore a story begun by Saint Patrick in Lecale County Down 1600 years ago. Walk with local guide Duane Fitzsimons along the ancient paths and hills through a series of folklore walks and rambles. The burial place of Ireland's three patron saints, Lecale boasts an impressive heritage and is defended by a ring of Norman castles.

The walks explore the heritage and folkore of this beautiful area. They include clifftop and hill walks, boat trips, and castle tours. Lecale is located at the feet of the majestic Mourne Mountains on the shores of Strangford Lough and is just 20 miles from Belfast.
