NI Orienteering

Throughout Northern Ireland from urban and park events from Belfast and Coleraine to forest and moorland events throughout the province.

Services Offered

Orienteering is an stimulating outdoor adventure sport which involves navigating around a sequence of control points using a detailed map and a compass and deciding the best route in order to complete the course in the quickest time. It does not matter how young, old or fit you are, as you can run, walk or jog the course and progress at your own pace.

NIOrienteering exists to promote and develop orienteering throughout Northern Ireland by providing support and technical supervision and by coordinating a varied program of events run by 3 orienteering clubs covering the province ( Fermanagh Orienteers, Lagan Valley Orienteers and the North West Orienteering Club).

So if you fancy giving this exciting sport a go then choose an event from the list on our website – most events have courses for all abilities - turn up and you will be made very welcome and shown the ropes.
