RYA recognised teaching establishment offering dingy and powerboat courses.

The club is situated just outside Cushendall looking out over Red Bay in an area designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It has a pleasant lawn at the front, has a secure boat storage yard and shares a large carpark with the RNLI.

The slipway access is shared with the RNLI boat and is available to the sea at all states of the tide.The club is affilliated to the RYA and the ISA. Membership is open to all.

The main activity is sailing but there are RIB cruising and sea angling sections, and also an active social scene.

The clubhouse was rebuilt in 1999, receiving Sports Lottery and FSA grants and is of the highest standard. Facillities include: Male and female changing rooms with showers and toilets, a wet training room, a junior recreation room, a bar and function room with kitchen. All have full wheelchair access.

The club runs an RYA Recognised Sailing School and is open to members and visitors of all ages. The club owns some sailing dinghies which are available for hire.

The club from time to time runs national and international sailing events.
